Initially I was hesitant to make a booking as there were no review; however there were limited options due to my late booking. Overall I was very satisfied with the apartment and service of the landlord.
Firstly, the apartment location is very central within the city centre. Railway station, banks, convenient stores, restaurants and shopping centres were all within short walking distance. I hardly took public transport while I was at the apartment as I could reach all amenities within a 10 mins walk.
While the location is central and near the city centre, the apartment is neatly tucked into a residential street so the noise level was acceptable on most day and night.
Secondly, the apartment has all standard facilities for cooking, washing and cleaning. Utensils and cutlery were adequate and clean. Washer/dryer and oven were easy to use.
The apartment was also very comfortable with a huge sofa in the hall, proper dining table, flat screen tv and wifi.
Wifi signal was sometimes not very stable, especially when too many devices were logged on. (?possibly due to fair use policy by broadband provider?)
The cleaners came weekly and were very fast and professional. Fresh sheets and towels were provided. The first cleaning was very thorough and clean but the second cleaning was less optimal (?too rushed?). But the cleaners did a generally good job.
The apartment also felt generally secure with main gate at entrance and double lock to main door of partment. I had 2 young children but had little worries even when I return late at night with them.
The landlord was also very responsive and easily contactable for any issues. The check in was fast and smooth. I moved in to my long term flat earlier and returned my serviced apartment earlier. To my surprise, the landlord came within 2 hour notice and check out the flat within 15 mins. I received my refund for unused nights as per the terms and conditions with no difficulty.
I will recommend this apartment to anyone coming to Leicester.
