The spectacle was entitled ‘Isles of Wonder; and was directed by Academy Award-winning British film director Danny Boyle. The choreographed sequence for the NHS was stunningly prophetic of today’s situation with Arenas once again being used as Hospitals and the NHS Nightingale Field Hospital, located at Excel, ironically close to the Olympic Stadium.
